Day 1: Hue - Bach Ma National Park
Departing from Hue, we will drive 60km to Bach Ma National Park. Bach Ma summit offers a range of unique small roads for those interested in wildlife and history or who simply wish to enjoy the distinctive natural beauty of the park. Each path can be walked in under a day and does not require any special hiking equipment. A five-hour trek in the afternoon through subtropical forest will take us to the Ngu Ho and Do Quyen Waterfalls. The Ngu Ho or Five-lakes Waterfalls crash down into pools of clear water. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Bach Ma National Park - Hue
After breakfast, we will start our trek to the summit. After one hour walking uphill we will reach the peak, 1450m high. From here we can admire the spectacular views north to Hue and south to Lang Co beach and several lagoons. From the summit we make our way through subtropical evergreen forest. The path, which passes the ruins of several French time villas, is famous for observing birds. Our trek ends at the Orchid Collection House near the guesthouse. After lunch we will return to Hue.
