Mai Chau - Hoa Lu

(3 days 2 nights - tour code MCHL03)

Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh province not far from Hanoi (135km). Mai Chau is well known for its natural beauty. The valley is home to many ethnic minorities, including the white Thai. From the top of Cun Mountain, the panorama of the lush green valley with its stilt houses is laid out before you. Hoa Lu is the Ancient Royal capital under Dinh dynasty and pre-Le dynasty which was lasted 41 years (968-1009).

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau

Transfer to Mai Chau at 7h00 by AC car. You arrive at Mai Chau at 11h30, lunch at a restaurant. You will have a trek to visit the daily of Thai people with a local guide around Mai Chau valley. You will stay overnight in traditional home stay of the Thai people.

Day 2: Mai Chau - Hoa Lu

After breakfast, we trek through the green rice paddies and local villages to see the daily life of the local people.
In the afternoon transfer to Hoa Lu. On the way you will have a good chance to view the landscapes along the road. Overnight at a hotel in Hoa Lu

Day 3: Hoa Lu - Ha Noi

You will be offered many opportunities to visit the ancient citadel along with many temples, palaces… Hiking up Ma Yen Mountain can provide you with a scenic backdrop for Hoa Lu’s two remaining temples: Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh. You will arrive in Hanoi at 5pm.
