Van Don - Quan Lan Islands

Van Don island is 50km from Halong City. It is in fact an archipelago comprising 600 islets and covering an area of 584 km². Cai Rong Town, the major town of Van Don island, was one of the first prosperous commercial ports under the Ly and Tran dynasties.
Quan Lan island belongs to Bai Tu Long Bay; part of an island range on the outside of the gulf of Tonkin. The main attraction here is a beautiful white sand beach shaped like a crescent moon.

Day 1: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long bay (Van Don island)
08h00: Departure from Hanoi to Ha Long city.
10h45: Arrive at Ha Long city. Have a 15 minutes’ break
12h15: Arrive at Bai Tu Long eco-tourism resort, check-in. After lunch, free tour around the resort, have a rest, or sea-bathing.
Dining on seafood dishes. Staying in the resort’s accommodations section at night.

Day 2: Bai Tu Long bay - Quan Lan island
8h00: Have breakfast.
8h30 : Tour guides lead you to a number of beauty spots in Van Don island district: Van Don harbour (Vietnam’s oldest trade harbour), Cai Rong town market, Have lunch and taking a rest.
13h00: The boat trip to Quan Lan island takes about 2 hours and on the way enjoy the wonderful view of Bai Tu Long bay, Ba Mun National park.
Along the two sides of the Quan Lan island are many kilometres of sandy beaches
Dinner and stay overnight in the bungalow on the beach.

Day 3: Quan Lan island - Hanoi
8h00 : Have breakfast.
After breakfast, visit the Minh Chau beach, situated 15 km from Quan Lan Beach, the famous Minh Chau Beach is proud of its white sand which does not stick to one. You can enjoy swimming and taste delicious seafood.
13h00: Return to Ha Long city by boat, 17h00 arrive at Hon Gai harbour, going on to Hanoi by car. Arrive in Ha Noi about 20h00
