Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (265km)
At 6.30 am, your interesting trip to Ba Be Lake starts. On the way home from Hanoi to Ba Be, you will stop to have a trek, sightseeing. After that you visit Cho Ra town, then you arrive the Tay village of Pac Ngoi. Overnight in Tay traditional homestay with lake view.
Day 2: Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang (100km)
Take local boat to the beautiful national park on your own. Then you head to ethnic villages around the lake such as a small Tay village called Hua Tang, a visit to it will enable us to witness how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. Meet your car, head north through the lush mountain passes to the city of Cao Bang. Overnight in Hotel at Cao Bang.
Day 3: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall - Cao Bang (170km)
Car ride to Ban Gioc, you will enjoy the natural view of huge Ban Gioc Waterfall. It is one of the country’s most remarkable natural wonders, located right on the Vietnam and China border line with its 53 m height and 300 m length. Heading back to Cao Bang, stop to explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Caver to discover its brilliant stalactites. Return to Cao Bang and overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Cao Bang -Lang Son -Hanoi (310km)
Go by car to visit Lang Son town. Experience the mountain road along the Chinese border. Lang Son, the capital of this mountainous area, is an important crossing and trading route with China. The area is home to Dao, Man, Tho and Nung ethnic minority groups. Visit Tam Thanh and Nhi Thanh Cave. A late afternoon trip back to Hanoi.
