Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

You will be met on arrival at Hanoi airport and transferred to your hotel. In the evening we will go to a local restaurant to enjoy delicious Vietnamese food. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi – Discover the historical City

In the morning you take a half-day sightseeing tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and the Temple of Literature, first national university in Vietnam built in 1076. In the afternoon visit the Museum of Ethnology to discover a little about the 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. In the evening you will enjoy water puppet show. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay cruise

Drive to Ha Long city for about 3 hours. Transfer to Deluxe Junk, lunch with fresh seafood. Start a 4 hours cruise into Ha Long Bay to see the amazing karsts with different forms, floating fishing village.
Afterwards, take a smaller boat to the kayaking area where you will be given a lesson on safety and paddling by our expert guide. Then visit Luon cave, enjoy swimming, sun bathing at Ti Top beach. Overnight on the boat.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Enjoy the sunrise, have breakfast before discover Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose. You will return to Hanoi at 16h00.In the evening we will board a soft sleeper train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.

Day 5: Sapa - Cat Cat village

6h00 - Arrive in Lao Cai. The bus trip to Sapa takes a little more than an hour giving you an idea of the impressive paddy fields panorama. Check into your hotel. 13h00 - Start trekking to Cat Cat (4-5 km) and visit the Hmong ethnic group walking in the paddy –fields. After that, down into the valley, you can see the old hydroelectric power station building (which was built by the French in 1925). Overnight at a hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa- Lao Chai - Ta Van village

In the morning, start trekking (8 km) down the valley along local paths and across rice paddies to visit Black Hmong and Giay ethnic groups, picnic lunch along the way. Have dinner and sleep overnight in a house on wooden pillars of the Giay people or the hotel (you can choose which)

Day 7: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai - Sapa

After breakfast at 8 am, begin a six-hour trek to visit the ethnic villages of the Hmong, Tay and Giay people. You hike through many bamboo forest and have a picnic lunch. Return by jeep to Sapa at 4h00, transfer by bus to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi- Bat Trang ceramic village

Arriving in Hanoi at 5h00. Check in your hotel for relax
In the afternoon we will visit Bat Trang – famous traditional ceramic village since the 14th century.
In the evening we transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue.

Day 9: Hue – Imperial Cidatel

Start a new day with a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Linh Mu Pagoda and Ming Mang’s Grave.
You will absorb the greatness of Imperial Citadel and then be overwhelmed by the solemn ambiance at Tu Duc’s Grave in the imperial city’s complex. Overnight at a hotel in Hue

Day 10: Hue – Hoi An – Ancient City

On the road from Hue to Hoi An, you will see Lang Co beach, Hai Van pass and the Marble Mountains. Visit the Cham Museum.
Hoi An was recognized by UNESCO as being a World Culture Heritage in 1999. You will visit the Japanese covered bridge and Tan Ky ancient house. Overnight at a hotel in Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang

Morning is at leisure. Drive to Da Nang airport for the flight to Nha Trang. On arrival you will be picked-up by our guide and driver to your hotel . Nha Trang is Vietnam’s best-known beach destination with kilometres of white sandy beaches, coconut palms and wonderful fresh seafood restaurants. Overnight at a hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 12: Nha Trang – Paradise Islands

Visit Ponagar Cham towers, Long Son pagoda, and the Oceanographic institute. We will then board our boat for a cruise to fishing villages, and Nha Trang islands. You may enjoy water sports including parasailing, jet-skiing, water-skiing or to relax on the boat watching the islands. Overnight at a hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 13: Nha trang - Buon Ma Thuot

We leave for Buon Ma Thuot by car. Stop in some places to see beautiful landscapes: pine forests, rubber & coffee plantations, and tropical jungles.
We will take you to Don village, the native land of wild elephant catchers and tamers whose fame was once echoed throughout the region. Visit the seven level waterfall, villages of M’nong & Lao ethnic group. Overnight at a hotel in Buon Ma Thuot.

Day 14: Buon Ma Thuot - Lak Lake

We depart for Lak lake. Lak is a M’nong name meaning "water". Discover king Bao Dai’s residence, the daily activities of M’nong ethnic group in Jun village, and ride an elephant for two hours. Finally, you may take a small boat and row (one hour). In the afternoon we will attend "Cong Chieng" musical performance of M’nong people and drink "Can" wine. Overnight in a bungalow.

Day 15: Buon Me Thuot –Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon)

Transfer to Saigon. We will visit the following sites in Saigon: Reunification Palace, Cholon (China town), Notre Dame Cathedral from colonial period, Ben Thanh market, Giac Lam Pagoda and Jade Emperor’s Pagoda. Overnight at a hotel in Sai Gon.

Day 16: Saigon - Mekong Delta

We will take you by car to Cai Be market and you will drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market and visit the fruit and bonsai garden. we will take the boat to Vinh Long town where you can discover beautiful islands and then to Can Tho. Overnight in Cantho.

Day 17: Mekong Delta - Saigon

Morning excursion on the endless waterways of the Mekong river. Visit Phong Dien floating market. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Saigon. Overnight at a hotel in Saigon.

Day 18: Saigon – Siem Reap

We will take a flight from Sai Gon to Siem Reap. After lunch, visit the famous Angkor Wat Temple, the largest and doubtlessly the most impressive of the monuments of the Angkor Archeological Park. It was built as a funerary temple for Suryavarman ll (ruled 1112-52) and Vishnu, the Hindu god whom the king identified with. Then visit the Ta Phrom, the most interesting ruin at Angkor. Enjoy the sunset over the Angkor complex on the top of Mount Phrom Bakheng. Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 19: Siem Reap

Wake up early to watch the sunrise from Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills over the plain of Angkor, from where you will also have a spectacular view over the Western Baray lake and the surrounding plain. Return to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel and continue to visit Preah Khan, Neak Pean , Eastern Mebon and Pre Rup temples. Lunch at Angkor. In the afternoon, we will visit the several temples of Rolous sites: Lolei, Preahko, Bakong Temples. Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 20: Siem Reap

After breakfast, visit a floating village of Chong Khneans and take a boat trip to Tonle Sap (Cambodia’s largest lake). Then come back to the hotel. The rest of your time is at leisure. You can have a spa at your hotel or go around Siem Reap or visit a craft textile village etc.... Evening enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance with dinner. Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 21: Siem Reap departure

Free before transfer to the airport for your next flight to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh city. End of the trip.
